I'm currently marketing my first novel, Survival Strategies.
Having delivered my invited story for a themed anthology (cross your fingers/tentacles!), I am now working on a short-short story to present at the Post-Brain event in the Near-Future Fictions series mentioned below. Once that's done, I should finally have time to start revising one of the stories I took to the Milford Conference last year.
Ebooks and Other Reprint Projects
I am co-curating (with Stephen Oram) a Virtual Futures Near-Future Fictions event on the theme of "Post-Brain", which will be held on 15 May (in London). Stephen and I have reviewed the submissions and already sent out several acceptances. I'm now guiding a few authors through some suggested revisions. The overall standard of submissions was pleasingly high.
I will be attending Picocon 35 - Harmony, which will be held at Imperial College London on 17 February. If you are attending and would like to meet up, please contact me.
As reported on 2 February on the News page, Jule Owen has invited me to take part in a panel discussion at the launch event for her new novel, In Kind, on 19 March.
