AnthologyBuilder

All writers have their regular distractions. From 2008 to 2016, my undoubted favourite was creating bespoke anthologies of SF and fantasy stories at AnthologyBuilder. With a database containing some 1600 previously published stories and hundreds of cover pictures, AnthologyBuilder provided a budding anthologist like me with a marvellous literary playground.

In all, I created ten anthologies on AnthologyBuilder, mostly collecting stories on specific genre themes, e.g. robots or alternate history, also a volume of stories published in Interzone magazine throughout its long history. Several of my anthologies were highlighted by AnthologyBuilder's proprietor Nancy Fulda as her "Anthology of the Week".

Sometimes other anthologists would include my stories in their books. My dear friend and one-time editor, Liz Holliday, compiled a collection of my stories titled With Stars In Her Eyes, also shown here.

The finished books looked as beautiful as these images suggest, thanks to the high qualiy covers supplied by the talented artists listed below.

Cover Credits
Planet Interzone: Jonathan Rollins
Loving the Alien: Frank Wu
Green Fingers:
Jeliza Patterson
March of the Robots: Frank Wu
With Stars In His Eyes: Jeliza Patterson
Two Degrees of Separation: Robert Hole, Jr.

I am very grateful to the artists named above and/or on the individual anthology pages, all of who have given me permission to use their cover images here. I greatly appreciate their kindness. Please follow the links to view further examples of their work.
