One Step Beyond

The One Step Beyond writers' group came into being in early 1999. It was formed by a group of seven budding SF and fantasy writers who attended Liz Holliday's excellent residential workshop of the same name in Devon in October 1998. If I hadn't attended that workshop and, more importantly, enjoyed the support of the members of the group since then, I very much doubt I'd have ever become a published writer.

Assembling, editing and producing this ebook of stories by the current members of the group is my way of paying them back. More importantly, sales of the ebook will help raise funds for English PEN.
